It's pretty amazing that it can make such a difference in how we feel!
I'm really glad to know you feel so much better, too

What did we all do before drugstore 'supplements'? And what if one can't afford supplements? The Vitamin D industry has an amazing marketing campaign...like the Protein & Dairy industries. Healthy VitD levels can be attained naturally...much as our ancestors did many, many generations before us.

Many of us were sick. That's what we did... we got sick and felt like you-know-what.
And you are so wrong, study after study shows not everyone can get healthy levels of vitamin D naturally. Neither did our ancestors.
You do know, I hope, that Americans live longer than ever now?

I do not believe in supplements at all.

Here's what I don't understand about you. You are continually talking about your veins and your chosen restricted diet.
All for your health.
Yet you take hormone replacement, known to cause serious medical problems. I went through menopause, it wasn't fun, but I would never resort to HRT as you have. IMO, if you are concerned about your health, get off those pills.

My daughter's Lyme doctor was labeled a "quack" (even though he is an M.D. as well) by another doctor and a lawyer. She is on doxycycline and starting to feel better. My suspicion is that any doctor who writes on the Internet is automatically labeled a "quack" by the so-called "real" doctors and the accepted medical community.
I don't have faith in any of them, the "real" docs or the "quacks." I am on three meds prescribed by regular doctors that have only served to compromise my health further. I can't stop taking them because the withdrawal symptoms could be life threatening. My stomach was destroyed by long term use of Prevacid prescribed by my gastro doc, I make no acid at all and have for over six years had a pre-cancerous stomach lining condition called benign gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumor, for which I am approximately two years overdue for another endoscopy to monitor it. My gastro doc showed my octreotide tests to all of his associates, including a nationally known gastroenterologist who speaks at seminars all over the country . . . and none of them know what to do about it. It may stay benign or it may not. No one knows. I have completely lost faith in modern medicine.
I have chosen to die naturally as a result. Whatever happens to me happens. I cannot safely have any surgery anyway due to my autoimmune issues and my poor health. I am hoping to live a few more years because of my living situation with my little daughter now. Otherwise, I feel lucky to have lived as long as I have and while I fear death as much as anyone else, I accept it.
I know I will get bashed for my position on this matter . . . I always do. But this is my life and my decision, and I make no claim to be right.

You asked about our ancestors? Know this:
The life expectancy in America today is about 78 years.
In 1900 it was 47 years.

How to cure diabetes with white rice and sugar. This guy is the ultimate quack and he is playing with the lives of any diabetic who would risk their life eating this way. A perfect scenario for an instant visit to the ER with symptoms of a diabetic coma.
My endocrinologist says that his license is in jeopardy with the so called ""studies"" he claims prove that the road to a cure (which is virtually impossible) are to eat this ridiculous way.
I wouldn't believe anything he claims about Vitamin D either because I don't have any interest in pseudo-science quacks.

Hi, Ford!
I am all for different opinions and alternative medicine but this guy is the ultimate quack. His information regarding how diabetics should eat and that there is a cure for diabetes puts him in the dangerous doctor category.
