I wont buy one of those fridges or stand there and shop on it. That's stupid.

Well anyway I wish theyd invent something that comes in and does our floors, cooks dinner, and does the laundry. Then Id think about it..lol. Until then my husband and I do it together.

My current fridge is evil enough now; I will never provide it with access to the net, lest it expand its empire. It is fairly new, but pops open by itself. The thermostat bears no relation to the temp in the fridge.

The seal was gone on the one I was replacing, but this one doesn't work as well as the old one did without an intact seal.

Whatever happened to the reliability of durable appliances? I had three broken during Christmas, when I had houseguests all month.

The fridge didn't break, but it keeps sending sinister signals of dysfunction. My checking account is occasionally sinister (and dysfunctional) enough all by itself.

A lot of things are predicted about the future that never come to pass. I recall years ago "they" said we would all be wearing paper disposable clothing by now, eat our food in the form of tablets and have our own individual rocket packs to fly about with.
