Some probably have no idea where they came from and just thought oh what a nice gift. They are some who are incredibly naive. Same people who give away all their personal info to anyone who calls them and answers their door to anyone who knocks.

Has something like this ever happened before? It sounds so familiar to me. Maybe I saw it on a tv show or such. Still very strange.

I suppose some will go into the garbage... into the landfill... and still get spread. Probably part of the plan

There is a cyber war going on every day. The US people on the front lines here are remarkable and do not get the credit (or pay!) they deserve for the most part.
Civilians and military folks, heroes you never know but they are hard at it day and night.

I also remember something like this happening a few years back..
I think my mind is blown right now just from the current events going on..maybe someone else can come along here and remind us both about it.

I would burn them. If you flushed them or threw them in the garbage they could eventually germinate elsewhere. We have enough invasive plants. Where I live in particular is overrun with bamboo which started as an interesting ornamental.
