In case you're curious, their fur feels like terrier fur, kind of wiry. It is soft, but not silky.

Also, the babies purr {#emotions_dlg.tt1}

(I used to work at a wildlife rehab center.)

I don't have an opinion one way or another....in some cases fake furs look just as real if not better ... so I wouldn't know which was which without actually touching.

Don't feel guilty about keeping this memento of your mom since it means so much to you.

I don't have any fur and no one has left me any, but I don't see anything wrong with keeping something handed down by a loved one. If some want to give their inherited furs away that it is fine, but if others want to keep theirs, that is okay too.

Everyone has to make their own choices about things like this.
