@goldensrbest Village candles are good candles. Some other very well known candle companies concentrate their fragrance at the top of the jar and as you burn them the fragrance gets weaker. This is done by two pourings into each jar. Weak on the bottom; stronger fragrance on the top layer. Village candles have consistent scent.

I am a big candle user; used to use Village and Yankee but lately I'm buying all Goose Creek( great scent and they burn clean).  I buy GC by the dozen when they have a good sale ( often) and have them shipped.  Shipping is free over a certain amount and they are very well packed.

A favorite candle company of mine is Votivo. Their number one fragrance is Red Current, but the Sage (Forgotten Sage) is my favorite. These candles burn consistently and have plenty of fragrance. In fact, I will set one in a small room and never light it. It gives off that much scent.

Re: Village candles

[ Edited ]

I have loved the B&BW's candles for a few years now.  I think they are sized and wicked properly for a nice burn. Fragrances are great!  I purchase only during the annual sale which is online and in stores the first weekend in December.    It is the best price for the entire year.  I buy a variety to last me the year currently.  When they get to the end  I put the wax in the electric tart burner to use up every bit. Currently burning "Hot Cocoa and Cream".

For many years I used YC.  I did not like how they burned, too smoky, but I loved many of the fragrances which no longer exist.  The only one left that I like is Christmas Wreath.
