Her farmhouse was posted for sale on Realtor.com for potential buyers before it was sold.  Here is the link with photos.  I recognize the kitchen in her videos.  Also, photos of the wall of stone.  The dark wood fireplace.

For those wanting to criticize me for posting it, Realtor.com is a public website for "anyone" wanting to see this property.  Lisa could ask Realtor.com to remove it, but obviously, she didn't.

It reminds me of Martha Stewart's property-don't think I ever saw the house but her 'farm' looked so much like this. It was on Martha Knows Best which was only about six episodes. I love those horses. Martha has them, too. Talks to all her animals in their language. Something to see, really.

I'll say one thing about LR's home. This place could NEVER be cozy but maybe she isn't the cozy type.

Lisa most certainly is a self made woman. Never depended on any man to support her, not from what I know about her life. Is that the "problem"? She traveled abroad on QVC's money? That's ridiculous, that was her job. So did Jane Treacy. Antonella, and countless others. She networked, that's what people in business do.

Lol at anyone calling that property "rundown". It's beautiful. I guess some people here live in palatial estates that are renovated every six months to a year. She worked for the money to buy it. She wasn't born with a silver spoon as far as I know.

I am no member of Lisa's tribe or fan club, etc. But this is all just so catty. I don't understand why her address is allowed here either. Being on realtor.com isn't a justification. Sure seems to me that quite a bit of digging was required to find that.

Self made wealthy women are often the subject of scorn around these forums. Interesting phenomenon, I suppose. I wonder what posters would say if David Venable owned that same property. I bet he could afford it.

@Nancy Drew. I think what @summergal1 is saying is that she made a lot of money and contacts by working at QVC. She obviously saved a lot of money and/or made good investments. Good for her. When I think of a “self made” person, I think of someone who started and was successful with their OWN company, not someone who was a well paid employee for years.

She got the QVC job and did great it becoming very successful.  How would you not call that "self made?"  She has worked hard at that all her life.  I can't disagree with saying she is self made.

I have always believed that was the problem and no one will be able to convince me otherwise @Greeneyedlady21 .  Maybe it would have been different if she was not attractive as well as being successful woman on her own terms. Who knows but I feel for the ones who have such low self confidence in their own abilities and achievements.

Calling her a self made woman is a far stretch at best. She spent a lot of the Q's money traveling abroad. She got close to vendors who later kept her ego going.
The run of the mill, overpriced merchandise she sells can be found anywhere at better prices. I'm sure her fans are willing to fund her travels abroad and cruises just by spend tons of money for ordinary merchandise just to say she sold it to them. To each their own🤷🏼‍♀️
No jealousy here just common sense

If you say so...

At QVC, she did what she was paid to do... People in business do make contacts, at least the smart ones do... As for her current business, the merchandise and her customers, caveat emptor always applies...

Heck even back in the 1980's when I spent every afternoon watching Oprah with a microphone in her hand do I believe she paid flight and hotel expenses for all her guests out of her own pocket.  I consider her a self made woman even if her career started on someone writing her a paycheck.  Lots of contacts made decades ago for Oprah.  By no means is Lisa an Oprah but sayiing Lisa is not self made is just wrong.  A person running a business on main street is self made.

@Sooner Well it depends on your definition of successful, I guess.  If working hard all your life makes you "self made," then I suppose we all are.

Don't know what makes you think Lisa may not be the *cozy type*.

Simply by the way she decorated on her holiday segments showed me a fondness of warm, traditional decorations.

Pulling up a chair close to a fireplace (and she has many) on a snowy cold night gives me the illusion of coziness.

@Puppy Lips I'm self made and I didn't start a business.  But I went to college, worked my fanny off at whatever job I had, had no sponsores and made my way at school and the workplace.  Nobody else did it for me.

So yes, I am self made in that respect.

Is Lisa Rinna selling her house or fixing it up?  I am assuming that is who LR is.
