I understand how you feel.  My son wanted a military career since he was about 4 years old.  I prayed his whole life that he'd outgrow that desire but he never did.  It was all he ever wanted.  The worry is overwhelming sometimes.  But I know it's what he wanted and what he's good at.  I finally had to let him follow his heart.  I'll keep your son in my prayers.

I am so proud and thankful to my husband who is a veteran, and to all veterans.  And to all those who lost their lives in service and to all their families.
