Re: Very Eerie driving around today (Post Hurricane)

@pieman

I cannot imagine anyone so heartless as to cheer on someone losing her home in any circumstance.  However, cruelty seems to crawl out of every corner.  Maybe she was just crazy.

My home is my slice of heaven...and I simply can't express how it would feel to lose it all.  Let alone watch it slip into the sea.

We are in Maryland and rarely have catastropic weather. I think that is one big reason I never considered moving.  It is not where I was born, but I love it and my home.

Here's hoping you find safe harbor up North!

The destruction I've seen is beyond words.

We have a time share on Ft. Myer's Beach and a little shopping area across the street called "Times Square" was pictured in one of the videos I saw.

Nothing left, really...just a lot of rubble.  Have no idea how the time share building did, but it was not home, just a place to visit.

Cannot imagine losing my home and everything.  Just heartbreaking for so many.
