Here's an interesting discussion:

"Why is “idea” sometimes pronounced as 'idear'?"

I'm not sure if this is even grammatically incorrect.

I work with someone who will say 'on tomorrow'.

Instead of saying, I'll prepare this tomorrow, she says I'll prepare this on tomorrow.

There are many elements: wind, fire, water
But none quite like the element of surprise

That being said or with that said
Realaty instead of realty
Jewelery
We're pregnant
Little man for a baby or toddler boy
Aks instead of ask
Loose when they mean lose
You got this (my latest addition to the list)
It's all go hurtsod (no...sometimes it really isn't)
Change is good
Belly (instead of stomach)

On the stomach you could, but as a nurse for 38 years it really needs to be my " Abdomen " hurts, if you really want to be correct. Due to the fact your abdomen has four quarters, that is why a doctor always wants to know what side, left or right, upper or lower. if you hear him/she say belly pain that is really used in the medical profession as a slang for abdominal pain say in the upper left quadrant.really abdomen and belly are more correct. My real pet peeve is " I seen the man walking down the street" instead of saw" That is just plain laziness and really grates on my nerves, and it is not just down here in the south it is everywhere.

What about idear instead of idea. Is that a southern/country thing? I've heard more than one of my relatives say that, but we are sort of hillbillies 😄. That one drives me nuts!

I would think that is a northern accent, sort of a Boston accent.

I've never heard anyone with a southern accent do the "R" thing at the end.

"Idear" is like Jeff Foxworthy redneck talk.

I hear this all the time and I am from Alabama and yes J.F. would make fun of it!!!

"I could care less," when one means "l couldn't care less."

"I was, like..." instead of "l said..."

"Ya know?" inserted in every sentence.

ETA: Also, when someone verbalizes texting acronyms, and says, for example, "LOL," "OMG," etc.
