Why? People love it. Personally I've only had the Beyond Burger which is likely very similar and it's delicious. I've also seen it used in tacos at other chains and Dunkin' is now serving PB breakfast sandwiches with Beyond Meat veggie sausage. I hope this is just the beginning and we see it more and more.

The few vegans I know wouldn't even set foot in a Burger King.

Exactly.
So supporting Burger King with their $$ makes no sense at all to me.

Burger King did not advertise the burger as vegan but they have advertised online that if you want a vegan burger you must ask for it without mayo and to have it cooked in their oven rather than on the grill with the other burgers. Sounds easy enough to me. And no lawyer needed to figure it out.
It's a shame this guy could be giving vegans a bad name by making them look like idiots. I hope people will realize this is just a fool looking for more than fast food--he's looking for a fast buck.
That's right.
One bozo calling himself vegan and now some people decide that all vegans are bozos.

Enough is Enough!
The "Me generation" is driving me crazy. No one says they must buy burgers at Burger King. That company was just trying to accommodate vegans; but, because Burger King hasn't spent $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ installing new grills, which would up the cost to ALL customers, some dingbat is suing them!
Any lawyer taking on such a case should be disbarred! There's so many important things and cases to be concerned with and something meant to be nice is suddenly turned into a lawsuit!
This society has a lot of growing up to do!

I'm so sick of STUPID.
Vegans knew that before they went in there to eat. Give me a break.

Someone is hungry...money hungry.

Has the plaintiff been identified as a Baby Boomer?

It's not about the plantiff. It's about the lawyer. Every time a court case is closed, two winners walk out of the courtroom.
The lawyers.

Because Burger King, or any other company, should not have to waste their time and money defending themselves over a ridicules lawsuit. Classic case of ruining it for everybody.
