Re: Vegan Australian woman sues neighbor over meat smells from barbecuing...

The way that I see is this, as humans we have a choice to eat meat, or to not eat meat.

A cat, because of biology does not have a choice.

For me, it really is as simple as that.

So another ethics question:

We know eating meat, dairy & eggs causes destructive damage to the human body. Extensive studies for decades have proven this.  Why are people still wanting to eat meat, dairy & eggs?

And not even counting WHO has considered processed meats

as a carcinogen....American Cancer Society says it causes cancer....but society still eats this cancer-causing product.

Why is is culturally acceptable to eat deadly products?

Some might say that’s thinly disguised as a suicide mission.

No surprise.

One side presents thoughtful opinions and hard facts...

‘and the other side just stomps their feet & declares

’never mind’.   Ok then.

Nothing that you present here daily or hourly is convincing hard science, @sidsmom.

You don't present "thoughtful opinions" (and your 'hard facts' are often questionable).

You regurgitate, @sidsmom

May I just say that there ARE many thoughtful and compelling vegans in the world.

I don't care for slinging ****** at them because of the unthoughtful and combative ones.

@sidsmom   No you are not presenting hard facts.

Nobody is stomping their feet; if you want an adult conversation, then stop ignoring the facts others present.

You dismiss the issue of pesticides and herbicides contaminating the very plants you want everyone to eat.  In fact, you have denigarted organics many times.

This subject is always 100% your way and you dismiss anything else that doesn't suit your agenda.  Kind of like stomping your own feet, no?

People are quite capable of doing their own research and making their own decisions.  To act as though you are the expert for everyone else is not helping any conversation, which is always one-sided when it comes to "vegan".
