I used to, for maybe 10-12 years. It was a nickname based off my real first name. But it was something that my mother called me, and as she aged I realized I would not want to have that plate when she passed away, it would make me sad. LOL she lived to almost 95, so I could have had that plate maybe 10-12 extra years.

No, and none of my family has a vanity plate. We won’t even pay extra to have one of the specialty plates offered by the state of WV.

Mine is "Ms Sue" -- that's how many of my students addressed me.
My husband's is RBT8R. First one to guess what it stands for gets a cookie. :-)

I would love to get a personal license plate but my state it costs just way to much money and every year you have to renew it and if I am told correctly it cost $120 yearly to renew plus the cost alone which I believe it was close to $200 for 1 plate. My DD has a personal plate and I believe that is what she paid for the plate and yearly dues.

The state of SC has many license plates as well - I don't even know what some of them are for.

Years ago I had a plate with my initials and birthdate on it. The price kept going up. I didn’t want to pay for it anymore . My friends son asked why I gave it up. I told him the more numbers the better because of the way I drive. He laughed. I had recently been in an a minor accident at the mall. My first in many years. I used to enjoy driving but I don’t anymore unless I’m on a country road.

I was thinking about getting this one. Colorado is known as "The Shelter Pet State" or something like that, because there are more shelters here than any other state. Buying these plates will make a contribution to a pet fund we have set up here in my state.

Never had one. Never wanted one. I don't think I know anyone who has one.
