@Bonkers1 I think it's not her, but decor for holidays in general has seemed "been there done that".
Much of it can be purchased for much lower prices at TJ Maxx, HomeGoods or Michael's, Target and Hobby Lobby. Many people get saturated with items and run out of storage space, too. Our garage sale had shelves of holiday items and a lot of it was not purchased and we donated it.

It seems many of her items are so similar to what she brings out year after year....another lantern, more spheres, more mercury glass trees.
One time I commented on her Facebook Page that I had purchased several of Valerie's wreath, but noticed on the newer wreaths it's been usually the same florals, and asked if she could she please do a floral wreath (any season) with a different flower other than Magnolias....and I got back the snarkiest response from her team, I replied that's ok I'll try our local Home Goods store.
Since I decorate with Luminara and real candles, I do like her pedestals and I got some good prices in the AS IS section, they were in perfect condition ....
Several years ago, I splurged and bought one of her Christmas trees, it was expensive and only latest a year and half. I posted a review on her Facebook Page, and her team told me to just purchase another set of lights....I told them I would expect this if it was from Walmart, but not at the price I paid for Valerie's. I got a nice artificial tree from Home Depot that lasted 3 years and still going strong, then I decided to downsize....it had all the bells and whistles, changing the color of the lights, various light twinkle modes etc.....
Our Hobby Lobby and Home Good stores have very nice selections and a good variety, and sometimes Kirklands too, of course good prices too. But actually I've gotten to the point where I downsized on home decor especially Christmas and donated quite a bit. I even got a smaller Christmas tree, no more 7 ft for me.
@Spurt - I found her not to be very helpful when I corresponded with her on FB Messenger. I contacted her regarding battery life on the male angel. It's over a foot tall, and uses AAA batteries, which lasted a little over 2 weeks. She responded that they always check that battery life is sufficient, and maybe I didn't use fresh batteries. I told her that I used brand new Duracells. Never got another reply.
She doesn't seem to be the sweet person she portrays on TV. 🤦🏼♀️
I think its Valerie's team that's snarky and not helpful.....She replied on a live chat once to me on a similar issue I had, and it was a nice response. Of course, it could've been that she was live, but I like to give people the benefit of the doubt

As for Val herself, initially, way back when, I found her sort of pleasant and relaxing. Now, if I turn her on however briefly, I find her cloying and her persona is sort of not to be believed. She's a very good sales woman for her products and she knows both the products and the sales approaches that will resonate with her customers. As for the products, I find most of them over-priced for what they are. Each to their own.

@Spurt - I just didn't like the fact that she ignored my comment.

I agree, that wasn't right!

I'm not sure what is new and interesting for her to bring to QVC. I like Valerie, and enjoy watching her presentations. The show with Jayne was informative.

Agree. Folks complain that they want something "different" but can never explain or enunciate what that might be!

Too many battery-operated table-top items presented. Luv my VPH starry night trees, and mercury glass trees, but too much sparkle and bling can be a little tacky.

to me most of the stuff I look at online looks like stuff they used to sell at the craft shows they use to have in late 1980's and in the 1990's. To me it's all clutter junk, and dated I don't like all that stuff around. But to each their own.im older, have too much stuff. I am more into minimal decor, maybe art pieces that are meaningful to me, or make a statement. I think target, Costco, Home Goods, have decorations at prices that are reasonable. I don't buy those either, but I look, and they are cute. But I guess to someone who doesn't have those options available, or someone younger who needs to start collecting or decorating, Valerie's stuff might be handy.

@THEY CallMe Mr Wilkes That is true. But in my opinion if the vendor is creative and innovative they think of new ideas. But it has to be hard at QVC. There has to be a price line, shipping viability, customer tastes and budgets. They create and design more for the masses, than the few
