Re: Valerie, stop with the Religion

[ Edited ]

A shopping channel is not  the place to minister to the flocks.   Go to Church. Like politics religion should not be allowed  to be discussed or sold like a product....  Selling religion on a shopping channel   just seems wrong and cheap selling tacky junky items with sappy stories. Cry me a river.

Re: Valerie, stop with the Religion

Thank you, my sentiments exactly. Years ago don't

remember all this proselytizing. Your beliefs are your beliefs

we all don't need to hear about it.

There is always changing the channel- QVC  seems to be

much more of a Christian channel than in prior years.

Re: Valerie, stop with the Religion

Good Grief, how about some common sense. Easter is a religious holiday so faith is related to some of the items she is selling. Valerie likes to explain what she was thinking & how she was inspired for the items she designs. I don't have a problem with the OP she expressed her opinion nicely but another used the term Bible thumpers which is a terrible insult.

Re: Valerie, stop with the Religion

I think it goes beyond the pale when a lovely, sincere, Christian woman cannot sell or endorse one of many of her products that QVC had agreed to being SOLD, without the unkind, uncaring and argumentative comments from those who disagree.

Change the channel, mute the channel....you have fingers, obviously, so use them. It is no different than Shawn K. or Kirsten as hosts or any other vendor 'hawking' their faith inspired jewelry. I believe Valerie is one of the most kind, compassionate and elegant vendors on the Q period.

I love the majority of items she brings and learn so many helpful designing tips and tricks when she's on air. Keep 'em coming Valerie.

I don't care whether or not QVC sells religious-related objects - no one is making me watch.  But I only buy thosse things from a source that specializes in selling objects particular to my religion.
