For anyone who wants a good, interesting read get Valeries autobiography. I have it on CD.  She reads it.  I mean who knew?  She was in show business at such a young age.  The people she started up with.  I got it out of a lack of something to listen to on a trip. I knew her from Rhoda, but it wasnt like I was a huge fan.  She had an interesting life.  The inner workings of Broadway were so interesting to listen too.  Learned a lot.  I also really liked her after I read it.  Rather, listened to.

she has had a long life, and concidering her illness lived way longer than they first thought.  80 is the new 70, so she was young.  But she did suffer for sure.  I know her daughter and husband will miss her horribly.  It is sad.
