So sad that she has filed for divorce.........I suppose it was her idea not his.

Who knows what he did to her.

He was sent to jail followed by  3 months of anger management classes for attacking his first wife and verbally threatening their daughter. How VB could have married him knowing that was beyond me when she announced their engagement.

You can suppose all you want but the cause was irreconciable differences.

Who knows if she was aware of his history. Has she said so or is it just speculation on someone's part.

If she did know, that would be red flag and avoid marriage to someone with that history.

But unless she has said she knew, it's all speculation.

@catlover7777 Correction: She has filed legal separation papers in Los Angeles County citing irreconcilable differences and does not plan to divorce at this time. The couple has a pre-nup that they will be adhering to.

@Love my grandkids   I usually don't watch her Sunday AM show on Food Network but I channel-surfed to a few of the recent episodes that included "family" meals and noted that Tom (her husband) was not among the guests.  A kind-of red flag went up in my head.

I must admit I was surprised at their legal separation due to her constant praise and lavish signs of affection for Tom over the years.  

I guess he had another side to his personality.

You never know what these Hollywood types are like.  I mean her choice in men has been not consistent with her sweet image.

None of us really know.  It could just be that they gradually grew apart and nothing anybody did!!  There were many separations after Covid lockdowns due to couples being forced to be together 24/7.

I'm totally shocked!  I didn't about this!  She had him on her show sometimes.  Although I have noticed not lately.  I liked her and Eddie Van Halen.  She seems very close and proud of her son with him.
