Do you create vacuum lines in your carpet? I love that look! Unfortunately 'life' gets in the way & the lines are gone in about 10 minutes. Whenever I have company coming, I pull out the vacuum, not for cleaning but for vacuum lines! #QVCForumConfession

I have a sister in law that lives for stuff like this. She had a room in her previous house with white furniture that no one could sit on and carpet with vacuum lines. She's ocd in many ways I think. I have my own issues and have some ocd leanings but not this type. I'm more of a hand washer, door and drawer closer and anxious variety.

I think that I am obsessed with finding the perfect vacuum -- for me. Not obsessed with keeping the floor perfect but just decent. I cannot use a heavy one anymore because of orthritus and old age. I have three different Sharks -- two battery operated and the new Shark Rocket that is very light weight and has several ways of using it. None of these would suit the ""line makers"" but they serve purpose very well.

I would hate to tell how many I have tried -- trying to find one that I can reasonably use.

I have sculpted carpet in the bedrooms, and I can't make lines on it. If I could, I would though.
