Hmm...I wonder who people will place the blame on now?

Don't even try, @Ladybug724

@Ladybug724, actually it's both baiting and political.

Assuming that you were asking a fair question, here is a fair answer: The stated goal of 100 million shots in 100 days has been exceeded by almost half again as many. @Ladybug724. Not too shabby even if it's been difficult.

Did anyone actually that such unprecedented enterprise would be easy?

That's good info. And you're right, no one said it would be easy. This is a monumental undertaking. And I always enjoy reading your posts.

But--and not to be argumentative, just stating a fact-that's isn't really an answer to my question.Smiley Happy

Thank you, @Ladybug724. I thought that I answered as well as I could given our restraints here. I won't elaborate, again because of the constraints here. :-)

No words. And yes, I actually do have words, but they wouldn't be allowed here.:-)

I get it, @proudlyfromNJ, but on social media, I do think it's worth some kind of response. Obviously, there are many of us who fall for this stuff.

In real life, though, yes, probably best to change the subject. :-)

@suzyQ3  Aw, come on! Don't you want to be plowing furrows on Bill Gates farmland in Nebraska when summoned?    Just kidding.

Our governor is giving doses to huge corporations so they can vaccinate their employees while medical workers, teachers, and the elderly go without.

My dh works for a large company and he and his co workers have gotten two emails so far asking them if they will be willing to take the shot if they can get the company can get their hands on it.

Meanwhile my elderly father called one of the pharmacies where he and momma are on the list yesterday, and they said that they are getting about 100 shots a week. I'm not sure how many work at my husbands place now, there use to be a little over 1000. I don't understand how large corporations are getting this vaccine when our elderly are not.

Yes I wouldn't either. It was more rhetorical tbh. Take care, I hope you have a great rest of your day @suzyQ3 !

As one of those eligible for the vaccine but still unable to sign in, the liars and thieves are exactly that.

The only positive is that the more people who are vaccinated, the safer we all are.  The vaccine of others lessens the spread for everyone even though most of us think first of our own safety. i know i do, too, but even once I have been vaccinated, I do not anticipate taking many risks beyond the major one I take now by doing my own supermarket shopping.

The vaccine seems save, although a small number have contracted a rare blood disease and a few have died. Still, this is a new genetic based vaccine so long term is a wait and see.

For those most at risk and the elderly it's worth getting the shot but I'm not sure it's worth days searching for an appointment or waiting hours in line.
