VENTING ABOUT RETURN OF ITEM TO EVINE

The Holiday shopping will start to get busy so this is just a reminder to keep track of what you return. I purchased a jacket from Evine, UPS transfered it to the USPS who delivered it to me on 10/4.   I took it to the post office  for return to Evine on 10/5 and as of today, they still have not received it and have not  received notification from UPS that it is being returned. I have been to the post office twice and told they have no idea where it is, they didn't even do a search while I was there, just told me UPS would pick it up within 2-3 weeks of me dropping it off there. I called UPS, no information available as to whether it's been picked up or not. Very disapointing.   Just a reminder for everyone to make sure you keep track of your returns. I am going back to the Post office again in the next day or so to see if they can find the package since it will be 3 weeks.

I always get a receipt with the tracking number.

If you used the return label included those things give you zero tracking!  I notice that with all the return labels from any of the shopping channels.  I always get them to scan it in and give me a receipt just in case so I can prove I turned it in to the post office and hopefully get a refund if it never shows up.

Could you have taken it to directly to UPS rather than the Post Office?  In retrospect, it seems like it would have been better to cut out the middleman - i.e., the Post Office

That was my mistake, I totally agree with you. I have returned several items over time and I usually just sit them on a table that the Post office has for returns and I don't get a receipt (I've seen many others do the same). I will make sure I get a receipt from now on because this is the first time I've had this problem.    Thanks

If it's the prepaid Smartlabel, tracking is always provided, it's right on the label, and you track a return here once it's been picked up from the post office. http://www.tracking.smartlabel.com/

I have found that of all the shopping channals Evine is the worst to deal with. Customer service acts like they know what they are doing, but it usally takes at least 3 phone calls before you find someone who actually helps resolve the problem. Good luck.

@TTerri  Thanks so much for the email to track packages.  I also had a package I sent back to a Evine last Wednesday....I never was notified by Evine that they knew it was coming.  I did write down the tracking number and entered it on the website you provided. It showed that the package will arrive back tomorrow to Evine. Now I am not Worried!  Thanks  Again!
