The Tommie Copper face mask wicks moisture away from the body. What benefit is wicking fabric used on a face mask whose only purpose is to block the moisture that's coming out of your nose/mouth from going into the atmosphere.
Moisture-wicking fabrics are fabrics with the ability to pull moisture away from the skin using tiny, built-in capillaries. Moisture is drawn to the exterior of the fabric, which makes it easier to evaporate.
I know many thousands of these have been sold. They were advance order and as of now, they are sold out. Did any of the hosts address the benefit/purpose of the wicking?

I've seen these advertised on tv and my first thought was what is the effect if any of copper on the face and breathing it in. I just came across an article today about copper infused face masks which said it is as yet unknown if there is any long term effect of copper next to the face. So I didn't purchase.

Unless they are approved by fda, qvc cannot say they are equal to an N95 although many companies have implied as much. I have the silver infused nano masks and they are "top of the line" too. The company is boomer naturals.

Fox said yesterday that caesars palace is giving gamblers $20 to wear a face mask. So....you and your hubby get $40 and pay only $39 on Souhwest Airlines new airfare deal whch ends in september I think. How good are caesar's masks? Free is good...yes/no and if you put that $20 in a slot you might be a winner.

For me, the Copper Zinc technology is a gimmick in this face mask, probably in any product. And I agree, I wouldn't put it close to my lungs/eyes while breathing.
We are in a severe public health crises that is escalating by the hour. QVC and Tommie Copper should not be riding along in the draft of a disease that is killing people. They are hyping a product that actually has a negative effect on public health by pulling moisture away from your body and into the atmosphere.

As of noon today, all Caesars properties in Las Vegas, require a mask on everyone, employees, guests, everyone. If you refuse to wear one, they will escort you out of the property.

I oredered them, they were supposed to be delivered today, however, they are still in Va. Now, looking at Sat. I"ll try them and see how they are. I think we are going to need masks for quite a while, at least till next spring.

Yes, it does look like we will be using masks for many months to come. Today North Carolina governor declared a statewide requirement for masks in public spaces.
The problem with the Tommie Copper masks is many people won't be aware that they are actually detremental to the public health.

@jazzed Are they detrimental to public health? Or is it still a question?
They're made with copper in the fabric because that is the fabric Tommie Copper uses for it's products. That's all. Quilters use quilt fabric for masks.
The concern is safety. Is it safe on the face? Are there articles that say it isn't?
