I was logging into an account yesterday and realized while I have changed the password a couple of times I continue to use the same user name on this account and many others for a number of years. I do change the passwords every so often.

Just wondering if anyone changes their username or just changes the password only. I'm not talking about this site or others like it but I mean with financial institutions, etc.

My bank makes me change my password every so often or I cant log on. But I change ALL of my passwords a lot just in case.

I think I'm going to start changing my user name every so often too.

Hi Charming.. Yes, I was advised by my financial institutions to change my password often in addition to my user name. I just went through clearing up a case of identity theft and it was a long and tedious affair. I was advised to change everything frequently....

Hi SoftRaindrops - Sorry that happened to you. Since I hear this more and more I think we can't be careful enough.

I plan to change user names...I just never thought about it before since so much emphasis is on passwords.
