I've seen Bruce Springsteen several times in concert and boy does he put on a great show for the fans.  Two of the concerts were in the large open MetLife Stadium in NJ and  both times we got poured on by summer thunderstorms.  He was a class act & kept performing - laughing & talking to the audience in between songs.  I don't live far from Freehold where he grew up & he's been known from time to time to still come back to the local ice cream place there.

@nova...Wow...how great!!!!....Yes, he is the real deal and really respects and loves his fans and gives them his all every time!...I really love the guy!...Same with his brother New Jerseyan, Jon Bon Jovi...They haven't forgotten where they come from and they are great peforming together also...There is nothing like being at a live concert with everyone coming together and having a great time!...The energy is amazing and a great workout too! @Susan Louise

No specificity, but I find a lot of Southern Gospel songs to fall into that category for me.

The 70s decade -- fantastic for music. I heard the King Harvest song, Dancing in the Moonlight at the grocery store last week. I involuntarily tapped my foot and was sorry when the song ended.

Remember Brown Eyed Girl, Van Morrison? When dancing to it, my husband changes the words to blue eyed girl.

And, can't forget Looking Glass singing Brandy - You're A Fine Girl or Al Green's Let's Stay Together.

These are a few of the songs that make me smile when I hear the first lines.

There is one song that immediately comes to mind and I know there are others but this one always gets to me...

                          "The Impossible Dream"
