We had gone to a local street art show and I came here saying that I felt the prices were extremely high and I had noticed that no one was carrying a bag so people were not buying. Saturday, hubby &I went shopping for something to hang on the wall behind the bed. We went to a local store called Art & Accessories Outlet. When at the art show we had looked at some paintings that were superimposed over old local area mariners maps. They were unique and pretty but she wanted fair400 for even a small one ,Not framed. On Saturday we found them at the store -exactly the same ,framed , and bought 2 for $58 each. And these are larger than the ones at the street fair. And they were by the same artist. The lady who was checking us out said they had just started carrying her stuff and it was popular.I told her about seeing it at the art fair and she said I guess she has realized that she is better off to sell many of them here than just one a day there.
