@gidgetgh   As someone who has had relatives that had to live/deal with Alzheimers, I am so sorry for both of you. It is the hardest situation to go through and I wish you the best in the future and the strength to endure.

I am so sorry to read of your husband's rapid decline, and his need for Hospice care.

Your posts showed that your life revolved around your husband and giving him the best you had to give. You did good @gidgetgh, but progressive illnesses are always advancing even when we think we are managing okay. And someday when we least expect it, the rug is yanked out from under us and we face the grim reality we always knew was coming, but we are not ready for it to be today.

You will get thru this; the strength you need will be there, and you will do exactly what needs to be done to fulfill your husband's last wishes. Your house may feel empty without your husband there, but you are not walking this journey alone. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
