@Malcontent :  I think the part that touched my heart so much was his generosity to his "birth" mom.  That comes from all of the love you have poured into his darling heart.  Now he has done what, probably gave him some closure, and he can move on.  You and your DH have raised a fine young man who is in tune with the plight of others.

You’re correct that he just needed closure. It’s over now and my son wants to ‘let it all (her) go’.

 

I do pray for her.
