Thanks for the address. I think I will send him a Valentine. It might be fun for him ,if some people keep it going. Obviously everyone won't, but I might

 

He deserves it. It is a very inexpensive way to make someone happy. The postal  service is funded by postage, and tax dollars. I don't consider it waste to make someone happy ,and also to support the Post Office, all for the price of a measly stamp

 

I wonder if it would be out of line to send and Easter card? I guess ,I should make it a thinking of you card ,instead.

I just think anyone who is worried about the cost of sending cards to a 96 year old WWII veteran does not get the kindness in this story.   Good for the daughter for caring about her father and wanting to do something nice for him.
