Update on Sister's Ankle Surgery

Hi everyone! I'm sorry I haven't had the chance to write until now. I haven't been on the boards for a couple of weeks taking care of my sister but wanted to update all of you who wrote to me your kind words and advice for my sister.

She did finally go through with getting the surgery and it was successful! She has a plate and two screws in the ankle and is recovering now and just had her second followup visit with the surgeon. He said the ankle is healing fine and she should be starting physical therapy in the next week or so. It's been quite a road for her (and me also). Thanks again for all your kind words. It really helped ease my sister's mind and she thanks you all too! Smile
