Dan has said on his Facebook page that Beth does have/had cancer. He has not said what type.

My SIL had this diagnosis when she was only 43.  Her battle lasted less than 2 months.

 

Dan's wife is a fighter as she's been battling for 3 years.  May she continue her fight.

3 years ago I had cancer.  What is listed in quotes is an e-mail from my surgeon to me through my HMO website.  "Your cancer was a stage Ia grade 1. The tumor was confined to the lining of the endometrial cavity and did not invade the muscle (wall) of the uterus. The grade is a description of the individual cells within the cancer and how they compare to normal tumors. Grade 1 is most favorable and grade 3 is the least."  I did not need chemo or radiation and all of it was removed at the time of surgery.

 

I was so scared about what would become of me, my job as I am single and totally dependent on my paycheck.  I so feel for Beth and the whole family.
