@On It    I feel for you!   I lived in CA for over three decades and went through fire season many times, including being told to be ready to evacuate at any moment.  

I'm sure the air quality is terrible.  Please take care.

Oh that is so scary. I have a brother who lives in Cali and he has had to evacuate a few times previously due to fires, and everyone's worry meter was pegged to hyper-worry. It turned out well for him, and I'm wishing you big luck that everything turns out OK for you too.

We've had some doozy wildfires here in FL, but nothing right on our doorstep. Though we sometimes do have the strong smoke smell, and I remember ash raining down on us before while at the beach, the actual burn areas are on the other side of the Intracoastal.

I also can't help but think of your recent post showing the new elk babies and am worried about them too. Hopefully they will be safe.
