Crazy weather, I know most of you in the south don't want the snow and I live in Maine and we have no snow.  We really want and need it up for winter snow sports.  Hopefully the weather straightens out soon.

@TurnerGal - you can have ours. After this mornings snow, which was very pretty, we have now progressed to howling winds and heavy freezing rain.  Local meteorologists are saying we are setting up for possibly a major ice storm tonight.  Power outages, some lasting potentially for days. Winds will subside.  Limbs, branches and trees will freeze tonight. Winds start again tomorrow morning.

In northeast Texas where I live, we get a lot of freezing rain - once in a great while, it will be snow. I would MUCH rather have snow. It is impossible to drive on sleet covered roads, so, we are stuck inside, and like you said, the powerlines usually go down, so, no electricity.
