Right now I'm hurting and quite apprehensive. I'm scheduled for my first total knee replacement surgery on Tuesday (!) and not looking forward to the upcoming challenging weeks/months of pain and therapy.......and then on to the second knee, I guess. Both knees are pretty much trashed, with very little cartilage left, so I'm barely able to walk. The surgeon made me get off my anti-inflammatory medication and Osteo-bi-flex these last few days before surgery, and I find myself pretty much crippled. Very limited getting around, and everything hurts.

I do hope the eventual improvement will be worthwhile......... Prayers and good thoughts appreciated. Thanks. I'm scared.
