Well we are on 3rd day of Deramax, the first day & second, I still had to help him stand but he could walk ok once he was up. But he seemed in sever pain when I tried to get him up. So talked to vet today & he had me pick up some pain meds for him. Tramodol. I dont like it but he talked to me for quite awhile & convinced me I needed to try it to help the pain. Well I gave it to him an about 2 hours later I got him up & he didnt seem to have as much pain. Had some dinner & got a drink, went to bathroom. Then shortly after he went down on the grass again. Once he actually got up by himself! We were happy to see that, but after going down once tonight, when he got up he was not moving good at all! The worst he has been since this started. After our dinner I looked out & he was down again so I decided to let him lay there for awhile & now I am going out to get him up & ready to come in to bed. I did not want to use Tramadol. I was sure hoping it would help him. Oh and the last time I had him up he pooped & it was REALLY dark! Usually it is light. First time I have ever seen it dark. I am really worried about him. Sure afraid I am going to lose him. Watching him close. Will sleep in den with him tonight. Just wanted to let you guys know how it was going. Please keep us in your prayers....we really need it.
