Re: Unsubscribe means exactly that: Unsubscribe !

@jlkz  If you purchase anything you need to look over the checkout process. The was and maybe still is a small statement under the amount I believe, that is pre-checked by QVC to start sending promotional emails and/or text.  It caught me once and now I look for it.

@jlkz,

I've had that problem for the past 2 weeks even though I always had my email unchecked for promotions all these years. Never had this problem before this.

When I clicked on unsubscribe numerous times it said, sorry there was a problem and to call the number they gave which I did-twice.

They said I was unsubscribed and if after 10 days call again and they would "send it to upper management."

So it seems like another one of their wonderful-NOT! glitches from the twilight zone.

I was getting 2 at least a day for things I was not interested in. What company has this many problems with their website and tech?! They should win an award for the worst IT ever!

So far today for the first time, I haven't gotten any-fingers crossed!

It's probably not a tech problem. It probably IS a marketing list problem. They are either not keeping up with their unsubscribes, or they have the same name(s) on multiple lists and aren't practicing good list hygiene. They may also be under instruction NOT to unsubscribe. The US doesn't really follow GDPR, which is too bad for American consumers.

@Kachina624

I have ordered one or two things in 2025 so I will probably follow suit in 2026.

With this Unsubscribe nonsense, I may just delete their app totally....moving it to junk just gives me a task I don't care to waste my energy on and then delete it from junk.

Evidently QVC management doesn't give a da-- about annoying their clientele....no wonder it's dwindling and questionable as to the younger generations coming aboard.

@jlkz   You were lucky to just a couple emails.  Before I unsubscribed a year ago, when button worked1 was getting 9-12 emails a day.   It was bombardment.  I figure if I need anything I can go to site.  Their website is the worst ever. No matter what it is, lately I get that "sorry" button.

Fasten your seatbelts....

I deactivated my qvc account through a conversation with a rep.  Done over and out.

A couple days later I got an email from Rakuten telling me I had $40 and change coming to me all from qvc purchases.  What?  .

I  had not made a significant purchase in 6 months.  I had always suspected qvc was not delivering on my Rakuten promises or money I should say, which was supposed to be an incentive to buy

You can be sure I converted those funds into an amazon gift card and made a purchase there.  Didn't know until then one had the opportunity to do that.
