I only use Angel Soft lol

Finally!  This whole thread had me laughing

but then I started wondering what I was missing.

I like our TP so I'm not missing anything.  We

have septic tanks but with bidets we use soooo

much less TP.

@monicakm I was just thinking about starting a subject about bidets--both stand (or sit I guess) alone and the bidet seats.  We are thinking about one.  So any advice for me on that subject?  Brands?  Likes and don't likes?  I'd appreciate it!!!!!

Re: Unperforated Toilet Paper

I'm on a septic tank and have had numerous plumbers tell me over the years that this is the best for them, Charmin being the worst. When I bought some for a friend during Covid, she said it was the worst she's ever used. That's one brand that I haven't noticed getting chintzy after Covid, most rolls have gotten narrower with fewer sheets per roll. I've not noticed they weren't perforated, I'll pay closer attention.

Did they offer a 30 day money back guarantee?  Perhaps extended holiday return?

Lately I've purchased Kirkland TP which had perforations but shredded when we tore off sheets.  Then I purchased Charmin Extra Soft and the same thing is happening, despite the perforations - it shreds into strips.  I never had a problem with Charmin tearing before - just the ludicrous price.    I only bought it because of a coupon.

Re: Unperforated Toilet Paper

I had our plumber here yesterday to replace a gasket in our commode so I asked him what they recommend for tissue. He smiled and said "Cottonelle!"  (wink, wink)!  They also service our septic tank every few years.

It was not until I moved into septic county that I discover that TP is a hold my beer topic!  Would not dare to express my preference, too chicken.

I was a Scott user for many years and now I use Angel Soft. Not crazy about any of them.  And the cost!  I think my COLA increase will go to pay for paper products.  Paper towels, napkins, tissues and toilet paper. Oh, the cost of those things.  And after we get our increase those companies will raise their prices again.

It appears people have spent considerable time on this riduculous subject, whereas the author has not bothered to come back and acknowledged entries directed to her.
