Thanks for reminder. It was remembered at our church this morning, and we were appreciative. Members of our family were fortunate to have been able to go to 75th commemoration and learn more about what their grandfather had endured. We should never forget these pieces of history.

On The 50th anniversary of D Day, June 6, 1994, I was in France. The French certainly remember what happened on June 6, 1944. I actually had a woman thank me for America's role in saving France. All I could do was thank her for Lafayette. I visited the American cemetery days after the anniversary. It was such a beautiful setting overlooking the ocean, but there was no mistaking the horrors of that day.
