@Carmie Never saw Molly swearing as I click her off at the first shreik, which doesn't take long. Her childish need for attention is underwhelming and sad. The fact that QVC rebroadcasts this stuff suggests poor taste from both. I do not have a problem with most "swear words," but there is a time and a place and a context for it -- and that does not include a shopping channel.

Yep, I was on there last night and the usual suspects were being called out.  Same on Instagram.  But curiously those comments don't get taken to task by a moderator.

@Northray. QVC owns this forum but They don't own Instagram so can't edit posts there.

Aahh, I didn't know you couldn't delete comments on your own Insta page.  I don't post too much content on mine so don't get to many comments that I have to edit.  Thanks.

I don't think QVC knows what they're doing. How's it working out for them?

I'm not a financial analyst but I know some things. I see the price of stock continuing to drop. I predicted last month a reverse split may be coming. To me, that's not a positive. I don't want to throw the B word around, but it may be a real possibility next year. They're not too big to fail.

There are some time slots where you can inject anyone and get high sales, especially if presenting new or desirable products. I can only image how much higher sales might be if long time customers could stomach watching certain nights of the week.

All the podcast, all the videos on other formates, all the social media wooing for new customers, all the hoopla "entertainment " doesn't mean squat if it's not translating into lasting current and future sales.

And for myself, if I'm not watching then I'm not buying.

This company, and I mean QVC and not Qurate because I have zero problems with HSN, seems to have several areas where they fall short compared to other online retailers. Bugs need worked out. Simple behavior modification of some hosts' bad manners, bad behavior, and bad habits could go a long way from having customers tune out. But where's the "fun" in that?

QVC is a business.  Their #1 purpose is to sell, sell, sell and make money.  They are not friends, nor do they care about customers.  They care about $$$.

@Carmie  -  I'm surprsed about your statement that QVC does not care about their customers.  You say you're a business owner.  Do you care about your customers?

In this day and age, can a business survive if they don't care about their customers?

My opinion is that QVC does care for the customer.  They - or any business - cannot survive without the customer.

@monicakm : So true. If you don't like the host, use the remote. In my opinion, the host has a difficult job: People that complain should try to talk a few minutes about a product: especially something they don't like or use.

I don't think unkind comments should be published.  But with this said I wish QVC would have some sort of survey for their own benefit.  I rarely watch anymore. Reasons could be prices, or hosts and vendors that I don't care to listen to, product choices... whatever.. and this information really should be on the agenda of the higher ups if they wish to continue to build a business overtime.

@Still Raining - I call people like that "keyboard warriors."

There's always a lot to be thankful for if you take time to look for it.
For example, I am sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt.

I have a small business in a small community.  My customers are locals and I get to personally talk with them, run into them while shopping and even know their family members. It's personal.

QVC is a large corporation.  They have stock holders.  QVC is beholden to the stock holders and their first rule of business is to make money for those stockholders.

If you think they really care about their customers, you are mistaken.  They will do whatever they think will work to keep their customers so they can continue to buy and make money for the corporation.

I am sure the hosts and employees are nice people, but they are just employees who can be replaced in a quick minute.

The corporation will step on and step over anything and anybody to reach their goal....to make money.

They even "fired" some of their beloved hosts without a thought.  Do you really think they care about you?

But it should be in the appropriate forum.  I really don't think the Beauty forum is the appropriate forum.

Agree @monicakm .  I didn't realize you were talking about the Beauty forum.

Beauty is for beauty stuff!  Smiley Happy

I never look at the beauty forum. I found this post under the "All Forum Topics" tab. And it doesn't bother me where someone posts about anything.

It doesn't bother me at all. So far, everyone can post an opinion.
