Maybe this belongs in the fashion forum but I thought I would get more eyes on my question here. I want to buy a Beatles zip up hoodie, the sizing says universal sizing. I'm 5'3" and wear a women's large and a medium in men's sizing. I will want to wear a tee shirt under the hoodie, I'm not sure if I should get a medium or large. I don't want it too baggy and long, but I want to be able to zip up.

Having looked up the d3finition of "universal sizing" it seems to mean one size fits all or has no formal meaning.  Make sure you can exchange it.  Do they have a size chart?

Does the site offer measurements of their sizing?  If they do that's what I would go by.

There are sizes mentioned but they only mention bust and waist measurements. There are stars for the product but no reviews. I would assume since this hoodie is for both male and females the sizes are more geared to men.it's from Amazon so I could return it but it's pain.

@Jordan2  I know when I look inside my Sketchers sneakers under the tongue they have what I think they mean universal sizing. I take a 9 US. On inside  It has women's size 9  in US size, UK size,  European size  and Men's size.  For instance my US 9 is a 7 Men's, etc.

Your Hoodie cant  be a one size fits all, as they are offering sizes.  If you wear a T-shirt under shouldn't make too much of a difference. I bet the women's  large, and the men's Med are the same size Hoodie. Good luck!   Fun Hoodie

@shoekitty I think I'm going to go with a medium, I'm afraid the large might be too long on me.

@Jordan2  Returns to Amazon are very easy. Most things I've returned didn't even have to be sealed and labeled. Just took the open box to a ups store and showed the symbol on my phone that was sent by Amazon when I initiated the return. Just a couple of clicks and you're ready to go.

@Jordan2   I think I would too. I don't like mine long either. I am just barely 5'2", I like them to hit at hip bones myself.

@shoesnbags I go to Staples for returns, you don't even need the box.
