If you want to give mom something very different and personal, I recommend a subscription to StoryWorth. My daughter gifted me with this last Mother's Day. Every week your mom will receive a question in her email. She will answer it by writing a "story" and submitting it. A copy also goes to the gifter. The questions are as far ranging as your imagination. My daughter sees the questions in advance. If she want to change one out, she can. She has tried to alternate more reflective topics with ones that are lighthearted. You can include photos if you want. At the end of the subscription year, the 52 stories are published for you in a keepsake book. I can't wait to see mine soon! I believe the cost was $75. And my daughter has surprisingly learned a great deal about me that she didn't know. Guess I thought I'd told her everything about my life and thoughts.
I do enjoy writing, especially humorous essays. So she knew this was a perfect present for me. She says she reads them aloud every week to her coworkers. 😳😆

Some siblings go in on a subscription together.
hope this was a helpful idea.

Re: Unique Mother’s Day gift

I wished I had known about that before my mom passed away last year.  What a wonderful gift that would have been!
