She was on a late night show last night and the first thing said to her was a sarcastic comment, "we missed you on Saturday." If my memory is correct, we had a fairly significant blizzard on Saturday.
Visually taken aback, Josie quickly apologized "I'm sorry . . . " but while she was trying to explain how she got stuck in her driveway, the host completely ignored her and started describing the product. Josie, being the lady that she is, let it go.
It was unnecessary and mean spirited, and changed my whole opinion of that host.

I saw that and didn't take it as a dig but as a joke that could be said to anyone who missed XYZ due to a well known event. I don't believe Shawn was there that night either. ITKWD David wasn't in....many hosts and vendors weren't.
Me thinks the OP is trying to make something out of nothing.

If by "visually taken aback" you mean Josie had her usual beaming smile, and by sarcasm you mean the host said "zero apology needed, it was only by a wing a prayer that anyone got here" then sure it was...no, I can't even pretend. The host was gracious and Josie wasn't even slightly "taken aback." No need to take my word, you can see it for yourself.

Since so many vendors, hosts, and models were in absentia that day, there was no need to bring it up. Josie was embarrassed uncessarily. I see it the way I see it, you see it your way. We are both entitled to our opinions.

I didn't watch the show but I did just watch the tape. I heard nothing but a genuine concern that Josie wasn't there and a gratefulness that she was OK. There wasn't even a hint of sarcasm in Shawn's voice, not even a hint.
I don't pretend to understand why some have to put a negative spin on everything, Shawn said nothing wrong.

Dig? Mean spirited? Did you miss the part where Shawn said "there is zero sorry needed" when Josie apologized. Josie said she was stuck in her driveway and Shawn said it was on a wing and a prayer that any of them got there.
When Shawn said "missed you on Saturday" she wasn't even joking or making a dig. She made a comment. Josie smiled, waived to the camera and said hi. She wasn't visually taken aback.
Why do posters do things like this?

Actually, Shaun said "...it's on a wing and a prayer that any of us got here..." (As if to say, I made it out of my driveway.)
So I take it, SK made it to her place of employment on Saturday?
Wasn't there a 'State of Emergency' in place Saturday? Don't know if that would excuse a vendor from being on the road.
That said, with good planning (a responsibility!) Josie could've arranged to stay nearer to the studio. I know she lives out that way, but the excuse of not being able to get out of her driveway was....lame.
I've scooped snow with my hands and one time kicked a plowed drift of snow from the front of my car to get out of a parking spot....in high heels and stockings.
It is possible, unless you're the type of girl that just sits there and pouts and thinks that it's impossible.
