While Dan was presenting the HP Computer, today's TSV, he mentioned they are available and had an "Under the Tree Guarantee. What does that mean? What's the benefit to the consumer if it's not received in time for the holiday? To me, if there is some type of "guarantee" on this or any product that's suppose to arrive by Christmas, QVC should offer some monetary amount back to the customer. JMO.

Maybe it means that you should keep your Christmas tree up as long as possible after the holiday is over.

@mom2four0418 Hmmmm -- could that be why QVC "celebrates" Christmas monthly?

Yes, they need to back-up their "guarantee." ... Put their money where their mouth is, as it were.

I know from. Experience not to buy a computer again from QVC. Their " guarantees on tech support, etc. didn't exist. The under cthe tree guarantee implies you will have it by Christmas.....they need to clarify it on-air and on their site if that is t the guarantee they are making.

The thing about the 'guarantees' QVC makes from time to time is that they are always just one-ended.
If it gets there on time, great. If it doesn't, too bad. The end.
As a rule, a guarantee is a double-ended thing. If it happens, great. If it doesn't, we will make it good in a way that is outlined up front.

how about a "under the tree or it's free, guarantee"?.

On Nov 22, we ordered, from Costco, the same PC (17" screen) QVC had as their TSV. Received it about 1/2 hour ago -- 6 days from order to delivery. The computer cost $808.00 which included tax, $10 shipping,a 2 year warranty and Costco's concierge service. Think this was a pretty good deal.
