I would gladly pay a few dollars more to ensure a UPS delivery

My problem with UPS is the boxes are often times crushed or the bags are filthy. Some even come with what look like tire tracks on them.

@Mustang Shar wrote:The problem is within the Post Office, right? There used to be a way to choose UPS instead of this Sure Post thing. I wonder if they chose a different carry, like Fed Ex, IF delivery might improve?
I'd prefer that FedEx never touch my packages. Most of the contact I've had with them has turned into a fiasco. Their drivers have literacy problems; can't read street names and addresses.

Well well this gets curiouser and curiouser they tracking number does not even exist in the USPS system.
Att @SusanQVC, If I do not get this package by this weekend I will never shop with QVC again

I had two packages, ordered on different days, holed up in Hodgkins, Illinois, for days, well past the EDD. All of a sudden they showed up on my doorstep via UPS.
What can Susan do about it other than help you track the package, @I am still oxox?

Most of what I receive from QVC now (except perishable food) either starts as USPS, or UPS and transfers to USPS for delivery, which usually extends delivery by a minimum of 3 days. I see the tracking on any USPS item from SC or NC goes to GA, then NJ, then to MD for delivery--WHY! I am sure many companies are placing this same burden on USPS, and my mail delivery is so much later in the day than it has ever been. My regular postman works long hours and late hours on Saturday. I am fortunate this man is a very gracious, kind and competent individual; I have had other postmen/women who were not anything like this man.
Amazon, on the other hand, delivers personally within 2 days max, and on Sunday. With many Amazon deliveries, I have had one that did not deliver as promised, delivered next day and received email indicating delivery delay.

She can hopefully unravel the mystery or send me another item UPS to make me happy or this will be the last thing I buy, why would you even ask a question of this sort.

I asked because I was curious what you expected. I emailed social about my delayed packages and received better tracking info from Wayne.

@I am still oxox When tracking some USPS numbers, I have had this happen more times than it should. I do not know why this happens but we should be told by CS. If scanned, the pkg should be in system for tracking! I have had other orders that were marked shipped but seem to get stuck at warehouse for pkg never moves, tracking not possible. Those are replaced if item still available or I want to go through this silliness once again. I am ordering less, thus problems are less.....
