It’s not too late to send an email to tell them about the label and the product. They might give you a credit for all of the hassle that it caused you.

I could not return through the Post Office because it was liquid. And they said to go to UPS.

I'd never ship anything by UPS unless it's paid by the receiver.  It's just too expensive.  Even USPS priority mail is faster than some UPS options.  USPS is cheaper too.   If USPS is ever prioritized, we'll be paying UPS prices for less service.
