A story from KTLA indicated that it is looking more likely there will be a UPS strike. I hope for everyone's interests a fair and equitable agreement can be reached.

I would be hesitant to place an order at the end of July and have my package stuck in transit for the duration of the strike. August 1 is the strike date.

@qualitygal I do not know the specific demands either. I know the job has become demanding and stressful compared to the UPS in the 1980's. I knew two drivers back then. It was a great job, wonderful benefits, and good salaries.

One thing they want is air conditioning in all vehicles. I live in a very hot climate and consider air conditioning imperitive.

I received an email from my Vet that my prescription dog food may be delayed as a result. I'm going to have to try and stock up

Give them air conditioned vehicles and a proper raise. For goodness sake, when will companies realize that a happy employee will be a better employee which will benefit everyone. GEESH!

They should have air in their trucks, some places it is over 100 degrees, good grief. It's not too much to ask.
