UPDATE:: for o/t WHAT WOULD YOU DO???

DD and dad talked last night on the phone. I was not in the room when the conversation took place, I just wanted this whole riff to be over. I so missed my talks with my DD and grandkids.

Things are much better. DD and I talked last night for a little bit, ( she had to get homework done with the 2 grandkids). We talked about forgiveness and saying things you can't take back.

DD is so tired and worn out working for this company. Right now jobs are hard to find in her field, human resource. either she is overqualified or under qualified.

Thank you guys for all your support in this matter. I was just feeling so low and so upset that is why I asked for your input. You gave me the bolstering I much needed.

I'm so glad that everything is much better! I know I 'get carried away' with my viewpoints (forgive me), but I always wish O/P's the very best in the long run. Please tell your DD to be very careful working those very late night-early morning hours. Possibly a co-worker can walk her to her car, etc. It probably would be a good idea to try her best to find another job with better, pre-scheduled hours, even if it isn't HR related. The reason why I'm saying this is because many years ago, when in my early 20's or so, I had similar situation, working 4 hrs. nightly in another job, after my regular daytime job. Thank goodness, I was warned by a stranger to be careful because there were a few assaults late evenings in the area I was working and parking my car, so I quit the second night job, probably saving my life. I often think of that person, warning me, and am very grateful for that.

I will be attending the little gathering and most importantly I will get to see my babies.

My youngest 9 months is talking, mostly gobbledeguck but he is "singing" up a storm.
