UPDATE TO NO MORE FACEBOOK

  Just wanted to let everyone know,  I now got an email from fb stating I've got notifications and to sign in.  I immediately marked it as spam on my email so that should end it.  

 

 

Don't know how to contact the real fb to close out the account or even if I should bother.  Any opinions/suggestions?

I am pretty sure that if you go into your settings you can close your account that way. I know at one time I ran across how to delete my account but not sure when I saw it.
