@Mom2Dogs  I have been listening to the doctors. None have claimed, unequivocally,  that the vaccine will be effective or, if effective, as effective  against the mutation as has been shown against the original. They say they have every reason to believe it will be effective.  That's miles from definite.

 

Why take the chance? Where's the harm in preventing wide spread mutated Covid by bring in more spreaders? What is known and spoken of by the doctors is that the mutation is more easily spread. Up to 70% more easily spread.  

 

There is no question that it can be kept out of our country, likely already here, but it seems prudent to limit the numbers spreading it. We already have an increase of infected and deaths with hospitals and staff overwhelmed.
