Re: Two things I observed today, what about you, what have you observed lately?

@Shanus  You are so on target with your observation.  Seniors are truly ignored, you're made to feel invisible. Also the butt of jokes on TV that would NEVER fly with any other group. Ageism lives.

Enjoy your early morning walks with Molly!

I think its rather interesting that what's going on in the country today is like we took a time machine and landed

back 52 years ago and in the 70's. Even some of the clothing styles--like tie dye and color blocking, wide legged pants, jump suits and the popular colors of clothing ....similar issues---(cant comment on)......

My most recent observation ....  we just have too many people on the planet, and too many of them don't care about (or understand) conservation.  Earth is stressed, and it shows.

I have no solution to offer, just the observation.

@MoJoV   Thanks. Molly sure loves her walks....and sniffing. What beagle wouldn't love new areas to smell? You know what they say...."a tired dog is a good dog".

What I have observed today is that I like a cloudy day once in a while - seems a little more calming and in summer a little bit cooler.

We've had sunny days every day for probably for the last 3 - 4 weeks and hot.....a cloudy day would be nice!

People have said the same thing for as long as I can remember (and I'm almost 66 years old). Nothing new, nothing different. Yes, time DOES move on and things get left in the past.

@Sushismom  I have to respectively disagree.  I am 72 now and I see a big difference this time around.  I hope I am wrong but, frankly, I don't think so.  We shall see.

@QVCkitty1  Don't feel disappointed in yourself.

I think in this world anxiety is very common.  I know I too experience it

more often than I would like.  I guess it's just part of how I am and how

I relate to situations.  Life is stressful!!!

What I have observed lately is that nothing is written in stone. I have also learned that sometimes you need to reevaluate where you stand on something and go with your gut. Never try to be all things to all people. You will spread yourself thin in the process.

Just some random thoughts on the topic..
