Re: Two things I observed today, what about you, what have you observed lately?

Believe me I have been tempted.

We used to have a Lhasa Apso and if he were still alive Smiley Sad he would have done it for me.  My Buddy was very protective of me and if my husband or anyone raised their hand or made negative move with their hand or body toward me, he was on it.

I really like the parable of the Chinese farmer and his son.

People have said the same thing for as long as I can remember (and I'm almost 66 years old). Nothing new, nothing different. Yes, time DOES move on and things get left in the past.

The present situation is different and it's scary.

And, once again, this has been said as long as I can remember.

My husband does this to me constrantly.  I feel so insuperior when he does.  I have told him as many times please don't point your finger at me.  He says OK but keeps doing it.

You might tell your husband that many psychiatrists say the pointing finger is a substitute for a gun or a private part.  In any case,  It is intended to

subdue, and intimidate, or establish dominance, sometimes by one who feels insecure, or who likes to MAKE others agree.

It has always bothered 😕 me, Evan as a child, so I have asked about it, and this is what I have been told.

Now, if someone does it to me I tell them I don’t like it, please stop 🛑.

I agree.  I have never seen anything like the present in all my years.

I find it different and terribly frightening as well.

What about the "present situation" is so different and so very frightening?

@Sushismom   I wish I could reply but the rules here keep me from doing so.

I find that people tend to be firmly fixed in their views, and ways, and associate only with those who share them.

I note that you have commented about, and questioned others responses several times.  There are many new discoveries, and new developments, if one is disposed to listen.

Yet, you have not shared YOUR OWN thoughts on the original query.

That seems a bit disingenuous on your part.
