We have been hearing " a bird" in the fireplace for several days....we'd look and then not see anything. This morning the noice was louder than normal so DH got a flashlight and saw 2 beautiful brown and white owls!! I have already been warned not to open the fireplace doors without some help. I'll also have to put my 2 little Cavaliers up as the owls may go for them....or so I was told.
Any suggestions on how to trap them when we open the doors??? A big net? I want to help them and not hurt them. I am sure it is a nesting pair, but how did they get through the damper??? It is open as we still use fireplace, but these are BIG BIRDS!!!
