Two FBI Agents Killed in FL

They were trying to serve a search warrant for a suspected "violent crimes against children". First time FBI agents have been killed while serving a warrant since 2008.

The suspect is dead although no word on whether from other agents or if he killed himself. Other agents were also wounded.

I was terribly sorry to hear that two FBI Agents were killed and 3 wounded in the line of duty.

The brave men and women of the FBI put their lives on the line every day to keep us and our country safe.

My heart aches for the Agents and their families.

Today’s FBI shooting is also reminiscent of the 2004 murder of Broward County Deputy Todd Fatta. Fatta was also killed while serving on a task force and executing a warrant on a sexual predator.

"Deputy Todd Fatta, a 9-year veteran of the Broward Sheriff's Office, was fatally shot on the morning of August 19, 2004 as he and fellow members of the LEACH (Law Enforcement Against Child Harm) Task Force attempted to serve a warrant in a child pornography raid in Ft. Lauderdale."

@Icegoddess How sad, not only for their families and their FBI families, but for our country. We have to wonder when the senseless violence will stop.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

This breaks my heart.

Sincere condolences to the family and friends of the fallen FBI agents. Truly, I am sickened by all this crazy, senseless violence.

Yes, of course, it is awful to hear about these deaths. It is also awful that a perp was doing "violent crimes against children." There s not too much information for the public right now.
